Akron: R.E.A. Express / Depot, Quaker Square

The R.E.A. Express was located at Quaker Square, in Akron, Ohio. Its name was changed to the Depot later in the 70s/ early 80s.

There were trains everywhere! There was a huge collection of model trains in the restauarnt, which would make their way around and between floors every hour. There was even an actual A C.B.& Q. railroad locomotive that was parked outside.

After it (and Quaker Square) were no more, the property was taken over by the University of Akron.
