Cleveland/ Richfield: The Coliseum

What can you say about The Coliseum? It was built in a field in 1974, mainly because it was a good location between Cleveland and Akron. It was the main venue until they built the Gateway project in downtown Cleveland, and it closed in 1994, demolished in 1999. Driving by it now, there is almost zero trace that it was every there. Now it's a big part of the Cuyahoga Valley park system.

My first concert was the Michael Stanley Band, in 1983. Donnie Iris was the opener. Since then I saw approximately one billion concerts, Cavs games, and who can forget the Cleveland Force?
