The “Sister Queens of the Great Lakes,” are sister ships — the SS North American and the SS South American — which were based in the Great Lakes of the Midwestern US. They traveled to Chicago, Cleveland, Buffalo and Muskegon and passed through the famous Soo Locks, through the Mackinac Stratis, Mackinac Island and passed by Niagara Falls.
