Islamorada FL: Erik's Floating Restaurant

Here's what I know about Erik's Floating Restauarant in Islamorada, Florida:

• It was a floating restauarant, on a barge-type apparatus.
• Very popular with residents
• Existed until the late 1980's

After that, rumors abound. The restaurant was sold, and then the electricty was turned off for some reason. This caused the pumps to fail and the restaurant sank.
