The Black Horse Tavern was located on the north side of modern-day State Route 59, just west of the city limits of Ravenna Ohio.
It operated until 1894, when township residents voted to outlaw taverns and saloons, and around 1900, the building burned down. A new Black Horse Tavern was built that stood until 2014. This logo is a re-creation of the sign painted along the top of the building.
