Academic Challenge was a local quiz show in Cleveland, Ohio that pitted area high schools against each other. When the show debuted in 1964, it was called "It's Academic" and was hosted by Don Cameron. In 1972, Don Webster became the new host under the new name "Academic Challenge." It ran until 1999 and was later rebooted in 2003.
The cool thing was getting one of these tshirts if you got to be on the show. This was the version of the shirt given to the participants in the early 1980s.
